Cadets Volunteer at Back to School Event

On August 26, 2023 Bloom Trail’s NJROTC cadets volunteered a combined 234 hrs of community service at the Sauk Village Hall supporting the Annual Corn & Dog/Community back to school event.  Twenty-six cadets helped set up tables/tents, cook & serve food, and play games. There were several events including a book bag giveaway and a youth dance group. Mayor Derrick Burgess and his staff were impressed and appreciative of all the support from our cadets and praised their performance. We are already looking forward for next years event.
