SOM is Rebecca Martinez

Rebecca Martinez is Bloom’s February Student of the Month for the Rotary Club of Chicago Heights and Park Forest. Rebecca is a sophomore, and considering studying Forensics or Business after High School. She is a highly motivated student who tries hard to promote live participation in virtual classes with her teachers and peers.

She was nominated by Ms. Plemons: “I nominate Rebecca for her outgoing personality, willingness to encourage her peers to do their best, and being a positive role model in our class during remote learning. Rebecca is a go getter, she wants to do well and it shows how self driven she is. She showed this by her actions during class by being positive, participating and responding and even helping me at times. Her love for life, family, and her pets were a great addition to our class and I miss having her in class.”
Some of her other teachers said:
“She is an amazing young lady who is outspoken, and not afraid to be the first one to speak.”
“She works well with her classmates and is always polite.”
“She is fabulous, she participates in class, and I can tell she cares.”
“Rebecca is an amazing girl!!! She is very studious, responsible, and outgoing! She has contributed a lot to class conversations and has consistently turned in all of her work!
She is helpful, and friendly, and overall, a wonderful student!
She deserves it!”

Great job Rebecca!!! We are all so proud of you. Please congratulate her on this award.
